Here we modify an inexpensive tripod dolly and hi-hat with MicroWheels to make a multipurpose track dolly. Three standard filmmaking tools combined for use together. What makes the DIY build so easy in this example is that the caster for the tripod floor-dolly is attached with a bolt that passes all the way through the metal tube of the collapsable frame. The casters can easily be removed and replaced with MicroWheels. The second tip for this build is that you can attach a camera high-hat to the tripod dolly to get great low-angle dolly shots.
